My Dear Son! {إيها الولد المحب} by Imam Ghazali
Ayyuhal-Walad al-Muhibb My Dear Son {إيها الولد المحب}
By Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (450-505 AH)
This is a letter of Imam Ghazali to one of his disciples who learned knowledge of various kinds from the Imam. He wrote a letter to the Imam for describing to him which branch of knowledge will suffice him on the day of Jadgement, which branches of knowledge of are useless on that final day. Imam Ghazali replied to him in his letter, which is beneficial to read for every Muslim. Originally written in Persian but was quickly translated into Arabic which became the widely circulated version that was readily available. Persian original was lost and is not available.
