About the author
Sayyid Abdur-Rahman Ibn Mustafa al-Hussaini al-Aidarous al-Naqshbandi was a great Imam and scholar and a Sufi master of the Naqshbandi tariqa in Yemen, who later migrated to Egypt and died there.He was born in Tarim (Yemen) on 9 Safar 1135 AH, and passed away in Egypt on 12 Muharram 1192 AH. He learned the Naqshbandi tariqa from multiple masters, and one of his spiritual chains goes as follows:
