Maktabah.org publishes antique out-of-print and other classical Islamic books in multiple languages under the publisher imprint Maktabah Islamic Books. Our primary objective is to bring such Islamic books to the International book market which other publishers will usually ignore and will not consider for publication. The books are printed on-demand and have usually a higher printing cost, but the availability is our core objective.

Maktabah Islamic Books is non-profit and all the revenue earned is used to fulfill costs, bring more Islamic books online and to publish more out-of-print valuable books into the International market. Many ancient books are no more available anywhere in the world to buy, and there are other books published locally which are not available in the open market and online shops. Our efforts are focused towards bringing such texts online as well as publish them in the printed form using print-on-demand services widely available today. We use Lulu.com as our manufacturer/printer and all orders are shipped directly from it.
