This book includes a treatise on the Naqshbandi Sufi Path written by Shaykh Taj ad-din Sambhali Uthmani, deputy of Khwaja Muhammad al-Baqi Dahlawi.

Shah Waliullah Muhaddis Dehlavi (1114-1174 AH)
Hazrat Shah Wali-Allah Muhaddis Dehlavi (شاه ولي الله محدث دهلوي) quddis sirrahu, was born on 14 Shawwal 1114 AH and passed away in 1174 AH. He was a great faqih (jurist), a muhaddis, a mujtahid, a mystic, a Sufi and the author of many classical works on Sufism. He was authorized in almost all major Sufi orders prevalent at that time, most notable of them being the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi order, and he had a strong knowledge of the four Sunni schools of jurisprudence. His father was Shah Abdur Rahim, a renowned Sufi master, and his prominent son was Shah Abdul Aziz, the great muhaddith of the Indian subcontinent.
He wrote about fifty books. He passed away in Muharram 1176 AH (1762 CE).
