The Tajweed Rules allow the reciter to emphasize the accent, phonetics, rhythm and temper of the Qura'nic recitation. This Quran is also ideal for students of hifz and qir'at who will easily recognise the various rules of tajweed. The text is in Uthmani script, so it is not suitable for the South Asian people.

عبد الرزاق الصنعاني أبو بكر عبد الرزاق بن همام بن نافع الصنعاني مولى حمير قال أبو سعد ابن السمعاني قيل ما رحل الناس إلى أحد بعد رسول الله مثل ما رحلوا إليه يروي عن معمر بن راشد الأزدي مولاهم البصري والأوزاعي وابن جريج وغيرهم وروى عنه أئمة الإسلام في ذلك العصر منهم

سفيان بن عيينة وهو من شيوخه وأحمد بن حنبل ويحيى بن معين وغيرهم وكانت ولادته في سنة ست وعشرين ومائة وتوفي في شوال سنة إحدى عشرة ومائتين باليمن رحمه الله تعالى والصنعاني بفتح الصاد المهلمة وسكون النون وفتح العين المهلمة وبعد الألف نون هذه النسبة إلى مدينة صنعاء وهي من أشهر مدن اليمن وزادوا النون في النسبة إليها وهي نسبة شاذة كما قالوا في بهراء بهراني وقال أبو محمد عبد الله بن الحارث الصنعاني سمعت عبد الرزاق يقول من يصحب الزمان ير الهوان قال وسمعته ينشد ( فذاك زمان لعبنا به * وهذا زمان بنا يلعب )

Tafsir Sufyan al-Thori

By Imam Sufyan al-Thawri al-Kufi (d. 106 AH)

This is one of the earliest works of Tafsir by a famous jurist and Muhaddith Imam Sufyan bin Saeed al-Thawri. Imam Tabari quotes many texts from this Tafsir. Imam Sufyan was not only a scholar but the founder of Sufism and one of the great Tabi'een. He was born in Kufa and died in 106 AH. His Usul al-Fiqh started a new school called Thawri, but this school of Fiqh did not survive long. Though his juridicial thought and especially hadith transmission are highly regarded in Sunnism, and have influenced all the major schools.

Hazrat Mawlana Naqi Ali Khan was the father of the great Indian scholar and Muhaddith Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi. He wrote multiple books and this is one of his masterpieces. This is a big Tafsir of just one small Surah of the Holy Quran, Surah Alam Nashrah.

Dhivehi (or Divehi) is the official language of Maldives and is also spoken in some parts of Southern India. The Holy Quran has been translated in Dhivehi by the Office of the President of Maldives and is available online at tanzeel.info.
