THE MAIN OBJECTIVE of this book is to provide in-depth discussions on those aspects of a Muslim's prayer which are subject to differences of opinion in the four madhhabs or "schools of Islamic law," giving special attention to the Hanafi opinion on each issue. Tafsir Ibn Jurayj (تفسير ابن جريج)

This Tafsir, attributed to Ibn Jurayj, is not authored by Ibn Jurayj himself, but contains only the narrations of Ibn Jurayj about the Tafsir of the Holy Quran.

Abdul Malik Ibn Abdul Aziz Ibn Jurayj (died 150 AH = 767 AD) was a great Sunni scholar and considered the first collector of Hadith. Many later Sunni scholars narrated Hadith and other traditions from him. This Tafsir is compiled with only Ibn Jurayj's narrations about the verses of holy Quran.
