Imam Ibn Kathir (Full name: 'Imad Ad-Din Isma'il bin 'Umar bin Kathir Al-Qurashi Al-Busraw) (700 - 774 AH) was one the great Imams of Ahl-us-Sunnah and a great Mufassir of Quran. His Tafsir Ibn Kathir is the most common Tafsir read by people from all schools of thought.
